Apostle Pam Wright serves as the Senior Pastor of The Remnant in Knoxville, Tennessee along with her wife, Pastor June.

Apostle Pam was saved in the Assemblies of God at 18.  Her journey has taken her from the Assemblies, to Lee College, to New Covenant Atlanta, and then in December 2004, she and Pastor June accepted the call to begin a work in the GLBTQS community in Knoxville.

Pastor June serves alongside Apostle Pam and also leads worship at The Remnant. Not only does she worship in song, she uses her paintings and artwork to worship the Lord.

God's Remnant Ministries will celebrate its 16th year in December 2020 of making a difference in our unique, but ever so beautiful community as we have relentlessly reached out to give the Hope of Jesus, with a heart to serve and build up broken lives and broken bridges.

We would be honored to meet you!  Come see what God is doing in Knoxville!

You Belong Here!

Pastor Alisa Byrd  serves on the pastoral staff as an associate pastor and teacher. She was raised in church and saved when she was 10 years old. Pastor Alisa is a worshiper and has loved worship from a young age by listening to her mother who sang hymns all the time in everyday life. Pastor Alisa is an Intercessor and prayer warrior. She serves as a member in the partnership with "A Place At the Table," that provides meals on Monday nights that feed our neighbors. Pastor Alisa had not attended church for many years but always felt God's hand on her life. A good friend invited her to The Remnant in 2010 and she has been faithful ever since.

Pastor Anita McGinnis, serves on the pastoral staff as an associate pastor and teacher. Pastor Anita also serves as the drummer on the worship team. She is a worshiper and has loved worship even from a young age, remembering her father who sang and used to lead worship. For many years she did not attend church but found her way back by taking hold of the gospel. She has always believed that if there is an exclusion of anyone for any reason then that is not what Jesus would have done. Pastor Anita was attending another church in Knoxville in 2012, when she was invited to The Immersed Conference at New Covenant Church Atlanta.  That life changing weekend she met Apostle Pam and Pastor June Wright and has been a part of The Remnant family ever since.                                                                             John 13:34
